Tourists receive information and visit the Interactive Museum at the Visitors Center.
The Visitors Center, the gateway to the Iguassu National Park, is where it all begins. The area offers information about the attractions, box office, bank, service office of ICMBio, sales of optional tours, bathrooms and comfort station, public telephones, cafeteria, gift shop and permanent environmental exposure. There is an exclusive room for guides and tour companies.
After purchasing the ticket at the park’s box office, the tourist should go to the platform for boarding the buses to travel 10 km inside the park toward the Iguassu Falls. From this point on, the visitor can relax and enjoy nature. It is the beginning of an exciting ride inside the Iguassu National Park. This is a good time to record every moment.
Information
At this site, the visitors can ask questions and see the cost of the tours. Employees of the concessionaire have information of all possible tours in the Iguassu National Park. You can also find pamphlets and maps.
Administration
The headquarters of the Cataratas do Iguaçu S.A. and the office serving the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio) are located at the Visitors Center.
Tourist Desk
This is a special office for guides and tour companies. It helps speed up the services for large groups and excursions. Professionals receive guidance on entrance tickets for tourist groups, among other information and recommendations.
Banking Service
Convenient banking transactions: A service point of the Itau bank is available to visitors and staff. It provides commercial and operational assistance. The Visitors Center also provides ATM Network service 24 hours from the Bank of Brazil and Itau.

Gift Shop
In the Visitors Center gift shop, you will find the best souvenirs from this unforgettable tour. The products are customized with icons representing the natural beauty of the Iguassu National Park. There is a wide variety of items to choose from, like shirts, plush dolls, hats, key chains, sculptures, photo frames, stationeries, photos, videos, among other products. Get an official souvenir of the Iguassu National Park and help preserve nature. Part of the proceeds is donated for the protection of the environment.
Parking Lot
It is a safe and comfortable place. The parking lot has 50 thousand square meters, with capacity for 70 buses, 20 vans, 900 cars, and 60 motorcycles and bicycles.
The visitor leaves his vehicle in a safe area and uses the exclusive transport from the concessionaire within the conservation area. The opening hours are from 7:30 am. to 7:00 pm. and the payment must be made during the purchasing of the tickets.
Note: the parking fee must be paid at the park’s entrance when purchasing the tickets.
